Hi all,

Just wanted to post about an old warehouse in pomona that i've always had a curiosity about until i found out they are selling the property and everything in it.  That warehouse is the old Kitron Radio building in downtown pomona, and old radio service shop that closed its doors back in the early 60s and has essentially acted as a time capsule ever since.  The son of the old owner is trying to move on with life and sell the property, and is trying to get all of its contents out to people who could use/want any of the many antique radios, parts, and miscellanea.  Below is a link to the craigslist posts some pictures and some contact info.  They are opening their doors to foot traffic saturday mornings and by appointment.

Where is it at and how much are they selling the building for?

dunno.  You'll have to call them.  they said that there was apparently some "foreign" guy that was willing to buy their inventory of vacuum tubes for 50k.  Not too certain of that claim given the conditions.  they have a lot of work cut out with them.  about 1200sf full of boxes so dusty you couldnt read the labels on them.  they will do scheduled "viewings".  The value of the items is outside my field of expertise.  All i know is that i got a good deal on the two original volkswagen radios, the flat mount speakers, and the 6" 115v bakelite computer style fans (<30$)

the building itself may or may not be in a condemned state.  I know the recent major earthquake updated the status of one of the buildings in the area as such.

thats too bad.  At any rate, you should be able to call the guy to schedule private viewings to check things out.
