  • Open Project Night (18:30, Fri 2026-05-08)

    • Ryan hosted.

    • Stardew Valley LAN party (unionized farm)

    • Somebody needs to host!

    • Richard hosted on Steam

    • The mod for stardew valley was for unlimited players, we may need to re-download it.

    • Richard would need to be around to host this

    • Two visitors came by to check out the space -- on recommendations from ChatGPT

      • Likely found it on meetup

Upcoming Events

  • Open Project Night (18:30, Fri 2026-05-15)

    • Brandon is hosting

  • Wood burning (rescheduled)

    • We like fires.

    • We can get the rocket stove (we can talk to Brian on wednesday)

  • Open House Party (18:00, Sat 2026-06-13)

Section Lead Updates

  • Brandon (CTO, Curator)

    • Solder pot socket is installed

      • Still need to buy solder pot

    • SV08 ventilation stalled (brandon busy) - open to strategic partnerships

    • Ambient Light Sensor working

      • Needs to be cleaned

      • Needs to be packaged

    • Visitors

      • JJ - showed up for 3d printing

  • Hong (Treasurer)

    • Almost positive (stay positive!)

    • No treasury report available

    • Taxes to be submitted today

    • Receipts for itemized deductions recorded and counted as our expenses

Discussion Items

  • Likely to look at other grants

    • Ifixit - more focused on the SLO area

  • Should get a pitch deck ready

    • Pitch to potential partners

    • Pitch to prospective members

  • Richard Work Equipment Re-Purpose

    • Laptop on the shapoko

      • commissioning will be in progress on the bantam

  • Ham Completion

    • 25%

    • May try to pipeline ham aging

    • Brandon wants to make rice so that we eat the ham

  • Anchor Lube great!

    • People here like it (Brandon + Trent)

    • Richard has bought a gallon!

    • Would we want anchor lube?

      • YES

    • Siracha bottle would be nice to have

  • General work area update:

    • Table saw now properly mounted!

    • We could get rid of one item in the general work area to free up space

  • Adam’s Scooter should be moved / purged soon
