Geospatial Training Services is heading to Montana for the 2026 MAGIP Big Sky GeoCon, and we're bringing two full-day workshops designed to make you more productive and more impressive.
Intermediate Experience Builder - Monday, April 13 | Full Day | Instructor: Kara Utter
You've built basic apps. Now build apps that make people ask "how did you do that?"
This hands-on workshop moves beyond the fundamentals to help you create dynamic, professional-grade applications using sections and views, related tables with triggers and actions, attribute and spatial queries, and editing capabilities.
Who should attend: GIS professionals who've completed an introductory Experience Builder course (or equivalent experience) and want to take their skills to the next level. No scripting required.
Requirements: Bring your laptop with ArcGIS Online Creator access (Publisher role or higher)
Cost: $445 (MAGIP members) / $715 (non-members)
Automating ArcGIS Pro Tasks with AI-Generated Python Code - Tuesday, April 14 | Full Day | Instructor: Eric Pimpler
What if you could automate your most tedious ArcGIS Pro tasks – without learning to code from scratch?
This workshop shows you how to use ChatGPT or Claude as personal coding assistants to write Python scripts that actually work. You'll automate geoprocessing tasks, manipulate data with cursors, and control map layouts – all by describing what you need and validating the results.
Who should attend: GIS professionals who perform repetitive tasks and want to automate them. This course is specifically designed for people with little to no programming experience, though experienced Python users will also discover a faster way to develop scripts.
Requirements: Laptop with ArcGIS Pro + free ChatGPT or Claude account
Cost: $445 (MAGIP members) / $715 (non-members)
Seats are limited for both workshops. Register now at magip.org.
