New Workshops

Introduction to JavaScript for ArcGIS Application Development and Introduction to JavaScript for ArcGIS Application Development are both new workshops.

 

Prerequisite Requirements

• Please note that, as explained in the descriptions, the Introduction to Python Programming workshop is a prerequisite requirement for the Introduction to ArcGIS Pro Python Tools and Processes Development and Introduction to ArcGIS Data Management Using Python workshops.
• If you are interested in attending the Introduction to ArcGIS Data Management Using Python workshop on May 8^th-9^th, but are unable to attend the Introduction to Python Programming workshop before then, please let me know at in...@gispd.com. If there is demand, I can offer it online during the week of April 28^th.
• There are no prerequisite requirements for the Introduction to JavaScript for ArcGIS Application Development workshop.

 

Approach

The nature of these workshops is as much coaching as it is teaching, in that, rather than working through fixed exercises, attendees seem to prefer to follow along as I give explanations and demos and then spend time practicing what they've learned. This allows for an engaging and flexible approach, with discussion and experimentation greatly enhancing the collective experience.
