Sandwich is a 2006 Bollywood comedy film starring Govinda, Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhry in the lead roles. Govinda plays a dual role of two identical twins who are separated at birth and end up marrying two different women. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Smita Thackeray.
The film was delayed for three years and released in 2006. It received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The film was also dubbed in Telugu as Double Trouble.
Plot
The film revolves around the life of Sher Singh (Govinda), a simple and honest man who works as a driver for a rich businessman, Mr. Khanna (Shakti Kapoor). Sher Singh is married to Nisha (Raveena Tandon), a sweet and loving wife who is unaware of his real identity. Sher Singh is actually Raju, a twin brother of Shekhar (also Govinda), who was separated from him when they were babies.
Shekhar is a successful lawyer who lives in Mumbai with his wife, Sweety (Mahima Chaudhry). Shekhar is also unaware of his twin brother's existence. One day, Shekhar gets a call from his father's friend, Lala (Mohnish Bahl), who informs him that his father is on his deathbed and wants to see him. Shekhar decides to go to his native village to meet his father.
Meanwhile, Sher Singh gets into trouble with some goons who are after Mr. Khanna's money. He escapes from them and boards a train to Mumbai. On the train, he meets Shekhar, who is also traveling to the same destination. They are shocked to see each other and realize that they are twins. They decide to exchange their places for a few days to experience each other's lives.
However, things get complicated when they reach Mumbai and have to deal with their respective wives, families and enemies. They also fall in love with each other's wives and try to woo them. The film is full of hilarious situations and confusion as the twins try to cope with their new identities and keep their secrets.

The songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh and Aadesh Shrivastav.

The film was a moderate success at the box office. It collected Rs. 9.5 crore in India and Rs. 1.5 crore overseas, making a total of Rs. 11 crore worldwide. The film was declared as "Average" by Box Office India.
