Magic Maps opens and closes

Dear Mr. Miller,
when I launch MagicMaps on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.13.6), it enters in a loop of opening/closing. So, I have the same problem, other users reported. I followed all the recommended steps, including reset of the PRram. Nothing was successful so far.
Remarkable detail: The downloaded trial version is running!
Can you please help me!
