Beltane Sabbat, May 1st or May 4th?

Beltane is celebrated May 1st in recent history, but the more arcane
celebration, or "olde way" was measured by a 15 degree of Taurus as
read in the sky.
In 2008, that falls on May 4th.
So, what is your opinion, should this important Sabbat be celebrated
on May 1st, or wnen the sky reads the ancient date? Please describe
why you think it should be celebrated on the day you would choose.

It should be celebrated on the ancient reading date in order to
preserve the true nature of the event.
