    Installation

        • In the Properties view, select General > Value and enter Hello World! in the text box.
        • Save your changes by pressing Ctrl+S or clicking File > Save.

        Deploying the web application

        To deploy your web application to a WebSphere server, follow these steps:

          • In the Project Explorer view, right-click on your project and select Run As > Run on Server.
          • Select WebSphere Application Server as the server type and click Next.
          • Select an existing server or create a new one by clicking New > WebSphere Application Server v8.5 or later.
          • Enter your server details, such as host name, port number, user name and password, and click Finish.
          • Click Next and then Finish to start the server and deploy your application.
          • A browser window will open with your application URL. You should see Hello World! displayed on the page.
