Product assembly by dragging and dropping

Hello everybody, I have an unprecedented demand ecommercethat I`m assisting in your planning and quotation.

The unusual demand would allow, on a product page, starting from a list of pre-defined products, the ability to drag and drop them assembling the final product to be purchased.

Well, based on this I have two questions for you: .

1. I'm planning on to use the structure of the Bundle Products plus the Jquery drag and drop UI library to help in the interface.
Do you think that is a good way to go or would suggest something more refined?

2. Estimating this "tool" in regards to time and cost is the part that I have most questions.
Based on the experience of each of you as a intermediate programmer of Magento, how long do you think you would need to make such functionality in magento? and how much do you think would be an acceptable value considering that it will be solely for a single customer?
