Magellan Active API Version 1.1 has been released.

Overview

The initial release of our API was missing the authentication method for retrieving a user’s access token given their username and password. This authentication method has been added, so the API is now ready for 3rd party developers.

Change Log

•  Add method for retrieving a user token given a username and password
•  Update the API documentation with “/<api>/<api_version>/” in the URL structure of all URLs
•  Update the API documentation with return values for Activity Sport Type and Session Sport Type

There was a mistake in the documentation of the URL Structure for retrieving the User Access Token.

http://active.magellangps.com/developer/api#FitnessWebServices-AuthToken

It says: https://active-api.magellangps.com/<apikey>/<api>/<api_version>/auth/<access_token>.<format>?username=<username>&password=<password>

It should be: https://active-api.magellangps.com/<apikey>/<api>/<api_version>/auth/access_token.<format>?username=<username>&password=<password>

There were mistakenly open and close carrots ('<' and '>') around the word access_token.

Now you should be able to start using the API!
