Latest API version

I'd like to lock my application to the current latest version of the API to isolate it from future changes rather than defaulting to "latest".

The latest version I see mentioned is version 1.7 on June 13th 2012. 

Is 1.7 the current latest version? The one /latest is pointing to?

Chris,

Current production version of the API is actually 1.13. All updates between 1.8 and 1.13 have been minor or behind the scenes, so I haven't posted to our blog or forum.
