Hello Magellan Active Developers,

Magellan Active now supports OAuth for requesting access to user's Magellan Active data.

It's not full OAuth 2.0 because we do not utilize secrets, just your API Key. You can find full documentation on the Developer API page.

As mentioned in the documentation, the previous authorization method Obtain User Access Token is now deprecated and will no longer be supported in version 2.0 and beyond. If you still want to use the Obtain User Access Token once version 2.0 is deployed you will have to change <api_version> in your URLs to "1". There is currently a bug where <api_version> is not being respected and it is always using the latest version, but this will be fixed in 2.0 to support the latest of each major release ("1", "2", etc.). We plan on launching version 2.0 before the end of the year with support for interacting with 24x7 passive activity data (steps, distance, calories) and sleep data that will be coming from our newest device, Magellan Echo Fit.
