關於正體中文預設輸入法

日前 openSUSE 有個消息，將於 12.2 使用 fcitx/gcin 作為簡體/正體中文的預設輸入法
不知道大家對於 Mageia 現況(ibus)有甚麼想法？

因為我個人從 xcin 時代就開始用酷音，之後就轉到 scim-chewing，現在用 ibus-chewing 也沒有問題，當然 gcin 現在也有 chewing 支援。

不過我知道有很多人都是使用 gcin，這邊還是問問大家的意見

這個推動也需要對岸開發者 Funda Wang 的支持(其實我還不確定他的意向，如果他是沒意見或反對，我也沒把握說服他)，所以不一定能夠成功，有很多因素會影響。

我覺得用 ibus 就可以了。

今年六月多，我聽過 jserv 對於輸入法的演講，才知道原來目前照 i18n 架構走的只有 ibus；其他都是走自己寫的途徑來處理。

gcin是我們比較容易去徵詢到的

我個人會建議預設內建用scim這套框架～

原本我想嘗試ibus可是發現ibus似乎無法支援在選字框內同時呈現兩種以上的不同字型～這樣就無法支援到包含unicode ＰＵＡ區的漢字"大字集"表格檔案～

然而之前的測試 scim 可以～

所以我建議採用scim當成預設值～

那就是最近又復活了 去年之前有很長一段時間SCIM都沒新東西

不過我自己的經驗是用起來沒iBus好 而且目前的多數情況是大家

都轉向iBus...

不過那個大前提...

scim 的話的確是之前沉寂很久很久很久，久到人家都認定它已經差不多宣告死亡了

iBus就....會吃字、上字不完全....

我後來還是回歸老字號的GCIN/HIME.....

我是以前用 scim 現在用 ibus (隨 mdv/mga 系統預設)，
倒是零星小問題解決後都還用得滿順的，
不過可以的話個人不太想再有變動。

Hello,

Please forgive us for not replying due to the luna festival holidays, I guess most of us are in vocation or some sort.

I'm sorry that we have a bug in Mageia control center, that if you select English as prefered language, only ibus and scim is selectable input method.

So you need to do it in a more traditional way, please open a terminal

su root

(type root password when prompt)

kwrite

(or any other text editor, gedit, leafpad, etc.)

open file /etc/sysconfig/i18n

add or change these lines

XIM=hime
QT_IM_MODULE=hime
XIM_PROGRAM=hime
GTK_IM_MODULE=hime
XMODIFIERS=@im=hime

You will need to logout and login again to make it work.
