I use the pre-compiled version of Maffilter through a High Perfomance Cluster (Linux version 3.10.0-327.36.3.el7.x86_64 (
bui...@kbuilder.dev.centos.org) (gcc version 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat 4.8.5-4) (GCC) )).
Although the examples in program's folder are really helpful with regards to the parmfile, when I run the program (./maffilter param=myfile.bpp) the program itself is trying to reach/allocate the whole memory of the cluster (total RAM: 3TB). As a result of this, is my process to be killed by the server.
Any ideas why please? Is there any command through the parmfile or so, to limit the memory usage of the maffilter?
Any suggestions are welcome
