I'm in. I'd be interested in presenting at a meetup in the future,
too, if we could get one together. Maybe something on Webmachine,
deploying Erlang applications with Chef, or an OTP crash course
depending on the number of newbies.

I love what you guys are doing at Opscode. This is a fantastic idea about the resurrection of this group. I have been getting into Scala at work, but I find Erlang more palatable, in general.

I can't make the Aug 25th mtg -- 1st day back to school in Raleigh -- but I'd be willing to come down in Sept and talk about how Opscode is using Erlang to improve Hosted Chef's performance and scalability, assuming there's interest.

So now it turns out I can't make tomorrow's drinkup.  You guys can still meet if you want, or we can take Kevin up on his idea of presenting Opscode's use of Erlang sometime in Sept.

Sept. 7th might be a bit of a stretch but I will check with the spousal unit. Later in September (after the 14th) might be easier for me if that works for you guys.

I think the final decision was to push until September.

Right now it's looking like an informal drinkup on September 7th and a true meetup with Kev Smith speaking towards the end of the month.
