Audiotent strongly advises checking what software and/or hardware is required to use the products and what are the minimum hardware requirements to use the software. Such information is always provided on the product pages. Audiotent does not refund products which require other software to use (Digital Audio Workstation-specific libraries, Software Synth Preset Banks). The customer is responsible to have knowledge required to use the product.

Until the FabFilter folks get their act together to support proper preset export/import on iOS, I created a couple of AUM presets for Timeless 3 inspired from various other delays. (Actually, what I had been wishing for was to be able to load up the original presets from Timeless and Timeless 2.)

To install: unzip the attached Zip file and move the 466...66 directory to under 'On My iPad' -> 'AUM' -> 'Audio Unit Presets'.
To use: on the 'Timeless 3' plugin window in AUM, open the hamburger menu (upper left corner, 4th icon from the left).
Once you have saved a preset within Timeless 3 you can subsequently use it in other hosts as well.

These patches are inspired from presets found in more than a half dozen delay apps. Thus I claim neither originality nor faithfulness in reproduction. I would merely observe that Timeless 3 is an amazing and deep product, with which it is easy to quickly whip up and emulate all kinds of interesting time-based sound effects - and still I have mostly stayed on the surface!

Yes, since there are different approaches and capabilities for each app, it appeared to make sense to keep things together by name. And if you are using one of the original apps you will no doubt recognize the copies. Though there is no claim that you will find an actual full reproduction in here.

Of note: a number of presets are best used in an Aux channel (typically when the MIX is fully wet) - so one way to check out many presets in sequence would be to dial down the MIX slider from 100% to, say, 80% (or whatever is preferred) and then use the lock icon next to MIX to lock the ratio into place when auditioning subsequent presets.

@Tim6502 I notice the latest update for Timeless3 includes preset sharing and import Preset folder commands. Wondering if this will make it easier to load these presets now and load them into Timeless3 rather than AUM presets.

I wanted to introduce myself and share a site I recently launched called Producer Presets. The site is basically a place for artists/producers to find, download, discuss and share presets for their audio software.

I've recently moved to the new Mac Mini and since then I notice that a lot of my Logic folders, including plugins etc are in different locations. This also creates a problem when I try to save a preset as "Save As" as it seems to not be saving it to the appropriate location but the last place I saved anything.

If you want a quick way to jump to those folders, you can save it to your sidebar so it will show up in the file save dialog, or you can use something like Default Folder X to always set the file selector.

To save a plug-in setting or patch in the Library, you first position the blue triangle toward the Setting button (for a patch) or the desired plug-in (for a plug-in setting) then click the Save button in the Library. Then the corresponding dialog opens (Save Patch as, or Save Setting as) with the appropriate location selected. It doesn't matter where the last place was that you saved anything. Even if you change that location for example because you want to save a patch on your desktop to share it with someone, the next time you click Save, the appropriate location is selected.

Now if I go into user, I do have a Music->AudioMusicApps->Plug-In Settings folder which has some of my third party plugin settings. Not sure why my folders seem to be all out of place as I just got this Mac Mini a month ago and installed as how I would normally install everything. Should I move my Library folder to sit within my user folder? Apologies as I'm a little confused as to the exact issue.

There are two library folders in MacOS: a root Library folder (Mac HD/Library/), and a user Library folder (Mac HD/Users/user-name/Library/ which can be accessed by holding down the Option key as you choose Go > Library in the Finder).

Check to see whether you have the expected folders in /Users/*you*/Library/Audio/Presets/ for your third-party plugins, and check the permissions on those various folders to make sure the system can read and write.

Yes, I have these folders. The system can read and write. But there are no folders for many other plugins from other manufacturers. The folders of many third-party plug-ins are located under the path " /Users/my folder/Music/Audio Music Apps/Plug-in settings/" or "/Macintosh/Library/Application support/Logic/Plug-in settings/". But if I want to save the preset of a third-party plugin, the Logic does not determine the desired folder.

The Plugin settings menus are where Logic used to save plugin settings, and it will still read from there are make those presets available in the menus. This is the equivalent of the old "user" plugin settings, verses Logic's preset plugin settings in the root folder.

This is the exact same issue that I'm having with my new mac mini. Why are these spread in multiple folders? Does anyone know? It's definitely not the same behaviour I experienced on my MBP and was a little trickier to get everything installed in the first place.

I had the goal of creating a great multi-band compression/expansion scheme using Pro-MB. Fortunately for me, Xfer Records gives away a free plugin effect called OTT that is a three-band compressor. It performs upward and downward compression and is a recreation of the Ableton Live OTT setting (Over the Top) in their compressor.
