Subject: Re: [MAEAA] Fisker Oceans
I also trekked over there on Friday (5/24) afternoon and took a test drive. Only semi-impressed. They're heavy, the tires are huge and probably expensive to replace and the visibility isn't all that great, especially out the rear. The combination video/actual rearview mirror was kind of cool. Not sure I liked the automatic regen when you let up on the accelerator pedal. It was comfortable and the rear leg/seat/head room was very good. Also nice to have some climate and radio controls in the rear seat console. Those weird 'desks' (taco tables)? Strange. The solar roof is a really great idea and you can track how much they contribute to range over time.
Of course, you must take into account that these are observations from a 12-year Volt driver.
Don't expect much info/help from the sales team. They have a lot to learn. I'm sure they will, but it'll take some time.
The price is very tempting, but....not for me.
