Begin forwarded message:From: Drew Arends <drew....@metroenergy.org>Subject: See you at the CARnival!Date: April 22, 2026 at 11:56:48 AM CDTHappy Earth Day, everyone! Hope you're just as excited as we are for the Electric CARnival, scheduled for this Friday, April 24. We have nearly 800 people registered, so it's going to be an electric event, for sure! If you're receiving this email, we plan to see you before the event begins, which is at 4pm. Your individual arrival times, as well as all additional information, can be found in the Run of Show attached. Here are some other reminders/tips:
We'll have snacks and refreshments for all volunteers. Please bring your own table and chairs, if you need them and if you are able to. If you've reached out to us and said you need tables/chairs, we've allotted some for you. If you haven't, please let us know. If you are sticking around for the movies, feel free to grab a parking spot inside the venue. If you're not, please plan to park outside the venue. Cars will only be permitted inside the venue if they are parking for the movies, part of the EV showcase, or temporarily need to drop off materials. Remember sunscreen! There is no required dress-code, but if you have something to represent your organization, or has the vibes of "Earth Day" or "CARnival," that'd be awesome. In addition to the Run of Show, please review the event map we've put together. Feel free to email, call or text me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, from now until the event!Best regards, DrewDrew Arends Program Coordinator II & Co-Director of KC Regional Clean Cities and CommunitiesMetropolitan Energy Center 660-202-7141 directTransforming energy use in America’s Heartland since 1983.Join our network of clean energy champions at metroenergy.org/join-in
