Go Green September 14

Hey all

A number of Johnson County cities get together and hold a Go Green event in the fall of each year (something akin to an Earth Day event).  Two questions:

1.  Does anyone want to volunteer to serve on the steering committee?

2.  Is this something we should consider showing cars at?

The event is no cost and largely coordinated by the City of Mission.  The following is what I received from my city and the link is both above and in the attached message.

Go Green 2025!: Call for Planning Committee Representative from Westwood The Go Green 2025! Environmental Fair planning committee is looking for a Westwood resident to help organize this fantastic event, now in its fourth year. The event planning committee consists of representatives from each of the participating Northeast Johnson County cities that support and sponsor the event.  If you haven't attended in years past, this FREE family-friendly environmental fair demonstrates how taking small steps can reduce your carbon footprint at home, school, and work to help the environment and save money. Local businesses and nonprofits provide information and items to help event attendees live a more sustainable life.
