Hey all

At our April meeting we did discuss and then went on with our discussion and never got back to rather or not we would like to participate in the library’s fair June 1. They sent me a reminder and I am attaching their initial invitation for your review.

Are we interested in participating in this fair and if so do we have one or three volunteers that can coordinate with the library and be at the event?

Thank you for helping to make our first Community Connections Fair a huge success! We’re bringing it back this year as part of a summer launch event featuring local performers and lots of fun activities for the community to enjoy on Saturday, June 1st at the Central Resource Library. We’ll be celebrating the 2024 summer theme, Adventure Begins at Your Library.

We hope you’ll consider hosting a table again this year from 11 AM to 2 PM so that community members can discover new hobbies to try, groups to join, and other adventures to explore this summer. In addition to having a table at the event, we have some limited space and time slots for groups with larger activities and demonstrations.

Date: Saturday, June 1st, 2024
Event Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Setup Time: 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM
Location: Central Resource Library

Overland Park, KS

Please note the following:

Your organization will be provided with a table and 2 chairs
Free WiFi is available
Audience is elementary age to adult
