If you ever get a chance to see Stan Tekiela talk, I highly recommend it.  Not only is he a great photographer, he's very entertaining and informative.  He came to talk to the Hunt Hill audubon sanctuary last week about everything he knows from his experience photographing wolves, coyotes and foxes.

PS he did comment about the wolf hunting debate - he's in favor of hunting in general, but his view is that hunting wolves is not a good idea because wolves are pack animals - if the pack leader is killed, the pack disbands, chaos ensues, which could lead to more killing of livestock, etc.  Plus, wolves tend to kill weaker deer- the ones that hunters don't want. etc...
