Hi All,

As some of you know I went back to the UW and am working on the web learning product that the UW uses.  As part of that my boss encouraged me to take a MOOC - a free online course, to get an idea of what current students are experiencing and a direction colleges might be headed.  I picked this one

The camera never lies

It is completely free and it does not really matter what you do in the class, as it is free.  I think it is interesting so far and thought some of you might appreciate it as well.  It started Monday, but you have 2 weeks to get the first lesson done.  I am about half way through the videos and so far so good.  It is not about cameras or photography directly, but about the deeper meaning of the work, and how images have been manipulated for different effects throughout history.

Ok, enough about it.  Check it out if you want.  If you take the class, let me know, some interesting things to discuss if anyone else joins.

John
