Thought I forward details on tonights Madison PC User Group Meeting. It maybe of interest to anyone wanting to learn more about cybersecurity. Sorry I didn't have the details earlier, but if you can make that'd be great.

Our next general meeting is on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 7 PM.  It will be held at the Community Room of the Village Co-Housing Community, 1104 Mound Street, at the corner with Mills Street.  This is in the Vilas neighborhood, a few blocks from Meriter Hospital, at the corner of Mills and Mound Streets.  The Community Room is set back behind a large courtyard.  Parking is available on the neighborhood streets; also, the Meriter Hospital parking ramp is nearby. The New Users and Digital Photography sessions meet, very informally, at 6 PM; come and get your questions answered.  More information at www.mpcug.com.  Our general meetings are free and open to the public.  All are welcome!
 
 
Our presenter will be Larry Boettger, Director of the InfoSec Security & Compliance Group, which is part of adtec Services, Inc.  This is a Wisconsin firm that specializes in IT consulting and staffing for businesses.
