Dear Nonprofit-

September took us by surprise, but after a summer hiatus to help organize Madison Nonprofit Day, MadTech—Madison's Nonprofit Technology Group— is starting our regular monthly meetings again. Haven't heard of us? No problems, this September will be our first year anniversary. That's right, we turn 1 year old on Wednesday, 16 September 2009 and we're expanding our reach.

You've received this email, most likely due to a listing on Madison's Community Pages. We're attempting to reach out to small, medium, and large nonprofit organizations in the Greater Madison Area and let them know that the Madison Nonprofit Technology Group is available to them, as a resource to improve your nonprofits information about, understanding of, and ability to use a wide range of technology, including social media. You don't have to be the tech maven or maverick at your organization to attend. All you that is required is a desire to learn how you can better use technology to accomplish your job and or your organization's mission.

This fall, we're kicking off a three part series on Facebook and how it can be used as your public relations and development strategy. I've attached a flyer that includes our Fall Meeting Schedule, but have included information about our Wednesday, 16 September 2009 meeting within this email. If you wish to receive further email messages from us, please sign-up for our mailing list at: http://groups.google.com/group/madtech608  or join our site at http://www.mad-tech.org.

Please feel free to share this email with your friends and co-workers. Our monthly meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, held at the Goodman Community Center and are free and open to the public. They typically start at 6:30pm and some food and beverages are provided.
