Hi all,

Congrats on the madrona release, looks like some great stuff and
planning to dig into it some hopefully over the next several months
with our efforts here in the Southeast US via SECOORA ( http://secoora.org
interactive map for latest in-situ observations http://secoora.org/maps).
Appreciate Tim Welch's info and links to the project.

An initial link into the earlier observation aggregation and schema
work we've done(labeled 'xenia') is at http://code.google.com/p/xenia/wiki/VMwareProducts
Glad to share and promote simple database or geojson related
schemas(or other ideas/code) that might benefit observation collection
and sharing as that might intersect with this groups efforts.
