Warren pickup in the snow? Monday 11/17/25, 6 to 8 pm

Hey Ultimate Players,

Not sure what the weather or field conditions will be like Monday evening.  Warren is currently under a winter storm warning until 7 pm Monday evening with forecast snow accumulation greater than 10 inches!  If anyone is driving by the fields on Monday and could verify what the field condition is, that may help our decision to play.  I'm going to need some arm twisting if we're going to play in the snow.  I'll also need to consider driving conditions if it's snowing right before game time.

Please chime in with a reply before 4 pm Monday if you're game to play regardless of the field conditions Monday evening.  We have a couple folks traveling a good distance to play, and they want to be sure we're going to have a game.  I'll send out another email by 4 pm if we have numbers.

As always, we're playing at the Brooks Recreation Field in the outfield of the lighted softball field next to the Warren Skate Park at 254 School Rd. Warren, VT, beginning at about 6 pm.

Once again, a couple strikes against us playing ultimate tonight:  primarily a lack of interest, but also a couple inches of snow on the field.  And although they did cancel the winter storm warning early, light snow showers continue with more snow likely falling during game time.

For the next few weeks we'll keep trying every Monday until the snow pack becomes semi-permanent, but chime in if you're done for the season, and maybe we'll change tactics.
