Fundraising: Program Advertising

One of our primary sources of annual fundraising is through the sale of advertisements in our season program. This season program is used for performances throughout the season and is a great way to create mutual support for both Madrigal Chorale and the businesses that choose to support us. 

Please see the linked documents which include the cover letter, benefits page, and worksheet/commitment form. Some pre-printed copies and sample programs may be made available at rehearsal upon request. Our due date will be Friday, November 14th.

Please make an effort to reach out to possible advertisers and sell as many ads as possible. Successful fundraising campaigns are vital to allowing us the freedom to pursue fun ideas and opportunities.

Calendar notes

Tuesday November 18th: Concert in the Community

We will once again be at Fox Run. Our performance will run from 6:30-7:30 with rehearsal afterwards following a short break to mingle. 

Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village

We are confirmed to be singing at Holiday Nights on December 22nd at Detroit Central Market.

Member News: Detroit Harmony Instrument Drive

Please see the following note shared by Martha. This is an important opportunity and a great way to give back within the community:

The DSO is having an Instrument Drive during the month of October.  They are collecting used instruments - and will then refurbish them and give them to the Detroit Public Schools (along with instruction).  The attached flyer has more detail.  If anyone would like to donate an instrument, feel free to bring it to our choir rehearsal on Tuesday and I can take it to the Clarkston drop-off location.
