Hello Everyone,
Below contains updated information for the funeral service on Sunday for those who are able to join. If you are unable to join for whatever reason, we completely understand and will see you on Tuesday. If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly john.p...@gmail.com or on my cell (248) 255-2395. Thank you all for being part of our Madrigal Chorale family.
Please see the link above for location details. The funeral on Sunday will be at St. Owen - many of us have sung there before.
St. Owen has an 11 am mass that will be letting out around 12pm as we arrive. Please be mindful of that with parking and entering the building.
The below is subject to change, so on the day of please be flexible and look out for each other.
Timing: (note this is taken from what Brad has shared with only minor edits. This email was not only to us, but also the St. Owen singers as well)
12 - 12:15 PM - Madrigal Chorale arrives in the church and warms up, singing through the pieces they will share
12:15-12:30
- We take a quick run of hymns (harmonizing parts) with everyone. I
will have ordered packets of songs to share for folks who aren't
Catholic or don't know the hymns. (Bring your part reading skills, but
the stuff we're doing together is very accessible and you probably know
all the parts anyway.
12:30 - Marilyn's body
will be placed in the Narthex for viewing. (this is the perfect time to
use a restroom, pay your last respects etc)
