I might have missed it, but was it ever officially decided what day
the group meets? As I can't find a specific date for the meeting.

Apologies. We decided on the first Tuesday of the month to avoid conflicts with other Madison area user groups. 

Ed's presentation will be January 3rd. I've updated the blog to reflect this.
