How can I sign up for an Xfinity package with Netflix?

If you have an existing Netflix account and sign up for an Xfinity package with Netflix service, you'll continue to be charged separately for your Netflix account until you complete the activation process by using the Netflix app on your X1 TV Box.

How do I change my Netflix plan or account information?

What happens to my Netflix account if I move?
Your Netflix subscription relationship is with Netflix directly, even if you signed up through Xfinity X1. Because of this, a move will not impact your subscription unless you are billed by Comcast, in which case, you will need to update your method of payment for Netflix.

Note: You'll need to sign in to Netflix again once you activate the boxes at your new address. If you move and no longer have Xfinity services, you will no longer be billed by Comcast and must update your payment method for Netflix or risk losing your Netflix Service.

If you have a previous, valid method of payment (credit or debit card, for example) on file with Netflix, Netflix will charge your previous method of payment. Contact Netflix to cancel your Netflix account after changing your service package with Comcast.

How does Netflix affect internet data usage?
Video in the Netflix app on Xfinity X1 is streamed over the internet. For this reason, usage of the Netflix app on X1 and all other programming and content from the internet on X1, as well as, the internet apps on X1 are subject to Xfinity Internet data usage policies.

To determine what amount of usage you can expect for a given hour of streaming, Netflix provides estimates on its website. Netflix estimates about 1 GB of data per hour for each stream of standard definition video, and up to 3 GB per hour for each stream of HD video.

Yes. Existing Netflix customers who use their Netflix login information when logging in through the Netflix app on X1 or Flex will see their current Netflix settings.

Why is Netflix programming displaying in letterbox?

So i appear to have a similar issue to many others. I recently renewed my bundle and netflix is part of the new bundle. Excellent timing as my parents and I were sharing their netflix (sky) account, and netflix are cracking down on account sharing so this meant we would have our own accounts.

I received the netflix activation email within 24 hrs, but when i clicked on it it told me i already had a netflix account. In hindsight i think it assigned the new netflix subscription to my dad's netflix account (which i would have been logged into on my desktop) which is already linked to sky? In any event my dad's netflix account is still linked to sky, but i am unable to activate my own bundled netflix account through virginmedia now! I have logged out of the other netflix account, cleared all browsing history and cookies etc, but when i click on the activation email now i just get an error message.

I contacted technical support who said the netflix activation email is linked to the virginmedia login email address, which i am sure is nonsense, however we changed the virginmedia registered email address and they said they would send another activation email, but it never arrived.

I opened a complaint (which is still open) explaining everything. I received a reply in poor english advising that I should contact technical support by phone as they needed to "make real time checks". It would appear they never read my email. Trying to go back to technical support again leads to being sent an SMS with all the same advice so I am back to square one.

on myvirginmedia, under entertainment services it looks like netflix is activated, as seen on screenshots, under "manage netflix" i only have the option to upgrade, so i am pretty sure the netflix activation tocken has been attributed to my father's netflix account, however when we log into his netflix account billing - it says the biulling is managed by sky. I am pretty sure i need a new activation email. Technical support seem to be unable to process this despite their promises. I would imagine if netflix was removed from my bundle and re-added it would probably generate a new activation email, but I have no way of getting support or advice as technical support just go through the same script and dont seem to be able to escalate the case to someone who can fix it.

If you sign up to an Entertainment, Big Entertainment or Full Works package, then your package will automatically include Netflix Standard with adverts. If you sign up to a package that doesn't have Netflix included and have a TV box you can add Netflix to your BT bill as an Extra, with a monthly-rolling subscription.

If you sign up for Entertainment, Big Entertainment, then Netflix Standard with adverts is automatically included in your monthly TV and broadband bill. If you sign up for a Full Works package, then Netflix Standard is included.

If you've purchased Netflix as an Extra, then this is a monthly-rolling subscription. Extras can be added and removed from your package month-to-month. Subscription charges will appear under the 'TV and entertainment' section on your BT bill.

You can watch Netflix on any device that supports the Netflix app, including another TV Box if you have our Extra Box add-on. However, the number of screens you can watch it on at the same time depends on the plan you have. To find out more visit www.netflix.com/help.

If you've signed up to Netflix through EE TV then you need to activate your service for it to commence. Activating your Netflix account is important so that you can either set up a Netflix account or bring your existing Netflix account over.

To do this simply check your order confirmation email. You can also activate it by going onto the TV and Sport section of My BT. You'll be asked to enter an email address and password. You'll also get the option to upgrade your Netflix plan.

If you have an existing Netflix account and want to bring this over to BT, you will need to sign up using the same email as your existing Netflix account. If you have a Standard with adverts, Standard, or Premium Netflix plan, you'll get the option to keep this plan and you will keep your account details including your personal profiles and the history of the shows you're watching. If you have Netflix with a third party, then you'll need to cancel this directly with them.

When you activate your Netflix account through BT, we will switch your Netflix billing to BT. If you have a Standard with adverts, Standard, or Premium Netflix plan, you'll get the option to keep this plan and you will keep your account details including your personal profiles and the history of the shows you're watching. If you have Netflix with a third party, then you'll need to cancel this directly with them.
