First I'd like to say thanks to the few people I've received responses
from. I realize we are all busy and sometimes are unable to test an
application, but any feedback is appreciated. I haven't received any
"bugs" (except benster), which either means it runs smoothly with no
hiccups, or the application hasn't been thoroughly tested. I hope its
not the latter.

Anyways, I have had little alpha releases here and there 0.3.1, 0.4,
and hopefully this weekend I'll be able to post beta 0.1.

There have been quite a number of changes since 0.3 (which is what the
features page), but most notable are:
- [0.4] Two way sync (except folders and contexts aren't added to
toodledo if created locally)
- [beta 0.1] Added Goals
- [beta 0.1] Added Repeat
- [beta 0.1] Finish up the two way sync for contexts, folders and
goals

those are the primary goals for now, as I haven't received any other
feedback or bugs.

future version will most likely have subtasks (I'm looking into the
innerworkings of it now).

Thanks!

Beta 0.1 is now out with the above listed improvements, plus some
other minor stuff (eg. sync button appears on all three pages: summary
and any sub pages, regardless of which one is set to be your start
page).

Thanks to those of you who have submitted feedback, please post
replies here and I'll send you the latest beta.

Sorry about asking people to keep replying to threads in order to be
sent an *.apk, but because feedback/responses have been sparse, I'd
like to use this as a means of weeding out the inactive testers.

Thanks,

maldworth

Hi Maldworth

Im currently using google tasks with gtasks but its very limited.

Would like to try your beta and get back to Tooledo. Im running a
Motrola Droid 2.01.

Someone mentioned hooking into Local for location based reminders and
I think this is the future of mobile task management.

Cheers,

Rich

Maldworth,

You sent me a0.4 Just a couple of days ago. I would be interested in
getting b0.1 I like what I'm seeing so far, but have seen some
issues.

1) After installing, did a bit of setup and then went to folders,
selected a folder, everything was fine. I then entered a task due
tomorrow, saved and it force closed. I've only seen this the one
time.

2) I marked some tasks as deleted over the weekend in mado, but this
morning I still see them on the web site. I opened mado and did a
sync and there is still a discrepancy between mado and the web. I
deleted them on the web and then did a sync in mado. No change. One
of these is a daily that was two days overdue. So when I deleted
Saturday's, Sunday's showed up as overdue on the web. Even with a
sync I don't see it in mado. I exited and killed mado in task
manager, and then restarted it. Sync (auto? or manual) and now
today's shows up (both in today and overdue). The web still show's
yesterdays as overdue, but not today's yet. This is the normal
behavior that I have seen.

3) Today I noticed things that is due today are showing up in the both
the today and the overdue lists. Also just noticed today's are
showing up in the 7 & 30 day as well. These are various events, some
reoccurring, some with alarms, others not. This appears to be just a
date based issue on not specific to any type of event.

Maybe some of these are covered by the b0.1 update based on what
you've noted otherwise there are still syncing issue. Look forward to
the update.

I know there's still a lot to do and I really appreciate your efforts
as this looks great so far. But I would be interested to know if
(way) later you'd consider either adding support for notebooks or as a
separate app like http://www.appigo.com/notebook for the iPhone. :)
I'd pay extra for that.

Thank You,

-klp

@RichP

I'll definitely consider location based task reminders, but I'd like
to get a stable initial version before I start looking at features
like that.

@PolarLava

1. That is troublesome, I tried those rough steps that you gave me,
and had no success to get this error. But please let me know if you
ever are able reproduce it more reliably.

2. I purposely had left deleted task synchronization out for now as I
didn't want to go deleting tasks and accidentally remove tasks that
weren't supposed to be. However deleting tasks on toodledo website,
should still delete a task on the device after a sync.
As to the Repeating task issue, I have figured out the problem. On
toodledo's website, when you complete a task that has a repeat value
set, it will automatically create a new task with the appropriate
settings. But if you complete that task through the API, it doesn't
create the new task automatically (which I assumed it would). So I'll
have to add that functionality (which is not difficult at all).

3. I have a few tasks due today that I made which are showing up in
overdue as well, so I'll have to fix that. But I have a question, if a
task is due today, should it also show up in next 7 days and 30 days?
Or should I start the counting of "next 7 days" from tomorrow + 7? I
currently do today's date + 7 days. (same idea applies for 30). If so,
that is also an easy change.

Thanks for the input though, this is exactly what I need to help bring
you a better experience!

I would also be available in joining the beta and providing feedback.

I have a new Tmobile MyTouch Fender edition on TMobile network.

I have a pro Toodledo account with tasks since last august.

I also sync my toodledo account with outlook tasks.

Hi,
I am long time Toodledo premium user and have a GTD system in place
with sub tasks.
I am using a Motorola Milestone 2.0.1 and would be able to give your
beta a good workout and am happy to provide lots of feedback.
If you feel the need for more testers then please consider me.

Kind Regards

Russ
