API add audience member with double opt-in

Hello,

We are using the http://madmimi.com/audience_members call in order to
add subscribers to the emailing list.
The call succeeds, the members are added ok, but they don't receive
any subscription confirmation message.

Is there a way (another parameter to be sent, or a different URL to
call) in order to obtain a true double opt-in process? (with an email
sent to the user to confirm subscription)

Hi Marius,

We don't currently have a way of doing that, but I really like the idea. Consider it on the todo list :)

I envisage a confirm=true parameter that will send the confirmation email. I'll keep you posted.

Hey there - I'm also wondering if this was implemented, and if not, if there might be an ETA. I'd really rather to use double opt-in for my lists :-)
