Hey guys,

Sorry for the late response on this. I'm not sure if you figured it out, but the body parameter should be encoded as YAML. Leo, your example doesn't appear incorrect, except maybe that the \n should actually be new lines (I'm not sure if you're showing the encoded new lines or mistakenly included \n in the actual post).

There's a ton of information about, and libraries for, YAML here at http://yaml.org/

Let us know if you still run into trouble.

Ciao,
Marc

Hey Guys,

I try to create a promotion with a placeholder named points this is my Promote text.

Dear Customers,

You have earned {points} Points.

Thanks!

Then I called malier api https://api.madmimi.com/mailer with parameter body whose value is --- \npoints: Leo Barrameda\n. Instructed by the Mailer api doc https://madmimi.com/developer/mailer/methods

The problem is, then I receive the main, the {points} is still {points}, the yaml data doesn't apply.

What I'm i doing wrong??

Thanks,
Leo
