Jim Remsik and I talked to the guy behind http://wisconsininteractive.com/

It looks like they're trying to be the tech version of the Tavern League of Wisconsin.

Definitely could be a great partner for Madisonium, although their focus would be state-wide.

I've met with Darin as well. He seemed focused on games and other entertainment at the time. Justin Beck and some other people I know are signed up to be involved.

I'm not really sure what he's trying to accomplish. Honestly it seems like just a lobbying group.

Here's one of the emails I got from him (sorry it's super long):

Dear Jermey and Jon,
Wisconsin Interactive is coming together.  We have a great Advisory Board in place.  I hope you will support the effort and be a part of the team.  I'm in need of a volunteer web developer to help put together a simple but slick website for the group.  We'll put the developers contact information on the website and help promote their work and/or company.  Any help spreading the word regarding our need is much appreciated.  I hope you and your friends, colleagues and supporters will become a friend of our Facebook page, too, when we launch it.

Be sure to send over any thoughts, event information or intel on new Wisconsin video game, mobile apps, simulator or other emerging technology companies you're aware of.

Best,
Darin Bielecki
