This weeks garden meetings: Dec.13-20

Greetings Garden Committee!

I spoke with Gayle Mar-Chun and Mike Velasquez today and we have
decided to cancel the general garden meeting that was supposed to take
place tomorrow, Tuesday December 15th. Since the Design meeting was
postponed and the Sustainability meeting isn't scheduled until
Wednesday, we just don't have a lot of new news to review. Also we
know everybody is busy with theholidays and two meetings this week
just feels like a bit much.

The Sustainability Team meeting is still on for Wednesday, December
16th at 6:30pm. The Sustainability Team (formerly known as the
Maintenance Team) and will be involved in planning how we are going to
get this garden going and keep it growing! This group will discuss
issues such asidentifying what will be needed from volunteers
throughout the year to discussing how we will involve neighborhood
community members in the garden. Basically this team will organize
the workings of the garden. We encourage anybody who is interested in
this important process to attend the first Sustainability Team meeting
on Wednesday.
