A. KP Oli is not our PM: He refused to take the PM oath as required by the constitution and as administered by the President. He neither respects nor abide by our constitution. Thus, we don’t need to respect or accept him as the PM. Unless he takes the oath as required, all his decisions as the PM are invalid and unacceptable. It is not a trifle issue, but about the respect of the nation and the constitution.

B. Citizenships: Changing citizenship status through the interim ordinance (Adhyadesh) is unacceptable. It is a sensitive issue pertaining to our soveregnity and the characteristics of the nation. Its misuse is ‘Fiji karan’ of the nation. Of course, deserving individuals must receive it. But, there must be debate in the parliament first. You can’t dissolve the parliament and issue the ordinance at midnight. It can’t be a political compromise for PM Oli’s personal gain.

C. Election: The declaration of the midterm election is disrespect to the earlier election, inopportune given the Covid 19 pandemic, and too expensive. In the last election people gave mandate for the five years term. Imposing new election without real national reasons is the insult to the mandate. It can’t be merely due to PM Oli’s personal whim or gain.
Currently, we are facing the second wave of the Covid 19 pandemic, which is worst than the first wave. The third wave, even worst, is on the way.
Our economy in general and also due to the pandemic is weak. Earlier Minister Barsh Man Pun estimates the expense of the election as 50 Billion Rupees for the government and over all expense as 300 Billion Rupees. Should we spend our energy and resources to strengthen our economy and fight the pandemic, or on unnecessary election?

D. MCC: The ‘Millennium Challenge Corporation’ agreement cuts through our sovereignty and is designed to attach Nepal with a security block. As is, it must be rejected. Only sold out, corrupt politicians will try to pass it.
Warning! Remember, we are watching. Think, how our people and history will deal with you.
We must stick to King Mahendra’s strategy of ‘Good relation with all’, ‘Non-aligned foreign policy’, and ‘Pancha Shila.’ We also must stick to King Birendra’s declaration of ‘Zone of Peace.’ We have to define and work out our own appropriate development model.

E. Corruption: Nepal has the dubious distinction of being number one in the ‘Corruption ranking’ according to the ‘Transparecy International.’ PM Oli, the Government, the Opposition, and the Media as well seem to ignore this glaring problem. To mention a few jewels out of the treasure trove: Wide body, Suna kand, Guthi land, Omni group, NCell, Yatayat syndicate, Medical mafia, 70 crore Gokul, Melamchi-Italian company, Baluwatar kand, Lalita Niwas, etc. etc.

F. Justice and Terrorism: Must serve justice to Maoist terrorists who killed 17,000 poor Nepalese, destroyed our economy, and desecrated our temples. Justice is the base of any society. Without justice no nation, no culture, no society will survive. Histories are the witnesses. The number 17,000 is not a mere statistics, a pawn in political game, an inconvenience of ideology; to be justified with political compromise, some jargons and intellectual somersault; but the real people and the real families. Let us be compassionate to the victims and demand justice.
G. Constitution Ratification: Must publish and honor the official public poll taken in July 2015 on the then draft constitution. It was the ratification (Anumodan) of the constitution. The people’s mandate is being suppressed, which is ‘Treason’ and renders the constitution ‘Invalid.’ In the poll, people have spoken clearly against ‘Dharma nirapexata, Sanghiyata, and Ganatantra.’ They were imposed on us by outsiders through Maoist terror and corrupt politicians. It is Democracy, not Communism \ Fascism. We must honor and abide by people’s mandate.
H. Positive note: Let us enjoy the forced Corona lockdown. A singer from Africa (Uganda) Ms. Beyonce Famacy sings a Nepali song and sends her love to us. By the way, she is a professional engineer.
