MI & Hyperglycemia.

Hello everyone,

It has been observed that almost 70- 80% patients during M.I. are diagnosed with Hyperglycemia-(Increased BSL)
and are thereon treated as Diabetic Patient i.e.- their hypoglycemic medicines are continued lifelong.

I suspect that this is due to some drastically changed physiology during the phase of MI which may or may not stay -
lifelong.

If anyone of you have some information or explaination of the above, please do let me know;
This will also help everyone about reducing the medicines and using our medicines for the same in post-M.I. patients.
