Age: 32 yrs Sex: Male Wt: 30 Kg DOF: 13/7/2009

Diagnosis:? Pyloric Stenosis

c/o:
Pain in abdomen since 2 yrs

Constipation

Vomiting, heaviness in abdomen after meal

Pt. feels like mass/tumor movement all over abdomen after meal

O/E:
GC fair

Conscious

AFebrile

Pulse: 88/min BP: 100/80 mm of hg Prakruti: Vat

Jivha: Sam Mal: Vibandh Mutra: N.

H/o: Alcohol

Birth H/o Preterm

L/E: PA Non tender

Liver not palpable

Mild hard

Barium meal X-ray report: Gastritis

Delayed emptying
of stomach seen

Dilated 2nd part
of duodenum.

Abrupt cut off
seen at junction of 2nd and 3rd part.

Rx: Panchakarm not advise


Oral Medicine

Saomya Virechan with Nissotar churna Thrice in a week
Rasayan with SIT (1 tsp)+ Turmeric (1/2 tsp) Anuvasan Honey
Balykalp Anuvasan milk
Anuloman with AVPC and Laxsa liquid.
Progress after Treatment: after a week

Stool regular
No vomiting
Mild pain relief
Wt gain with 10 kg within 2 month.

Good results

If you are convinced that the patient has recovered from ulcers, You can include an increasing dose of  Ajwayan and Krishna jeerak, this will help in further pain relief and agni deepan pachan. You can think of faanta if it be in mild dose.

Quite helpful study to boost our doctors confidence.
