VSD means the septum dividing the ventricle into two is absent either
partially or completely.
If completely, then, it is called as a single ventricle likr thing.
DOE will result, cynosis will be seen as oxygenated and deoxygenated
blood lie in the same chamber thus mixing in each other. Result is
clubbing. Clubbing occurs as deoxygenated blood collects under the
nail beds and the nailbeds bloat up to form clubbing.
The prognosis is very poor.
Phlebotomy means "ELECTIVE RAKTAMOKSHAN"
Allopathy resorts to Phlebotomy when all the treatment modules with
them are over.
We need to start with SHS twice a day with a high risk consent.
One positive thing is the age.
This age the prognosis improves. If it would have been say 1 to 5
years, prognosis would be very bad.
Arjun at a dose of min 5 gms 6 times a day will be the targetted dose
to start with.
His 6 min walk test will show the improvement.
Raktamokshan will help to get us rid of deoxygenated blood from his
body. Continue it. It should not be more than required.
