Dear Made
With Molecules Friends and Fans,
Happy New
Year! Happy Year of the Rat! Being a Rat myself, I'm looking forward
to a good year. Although I love the rain storms, the gray days of the
San Francisco winter have me wishing for spring - and daydreaming
about a month in Hawaii.
Newsletter List Move
Thanks for you patience with my newsletter list move to Google Groups.
The list I was tending on Excel was growing a bit unwieldy. MWM is
growing and it's time to keep up! (I have my fingers crossed that this
message gets to you safely and legibly.)
Dopamine Day
I think of Valentine's Day as Dopamine Day, where we can celebrate all
things that help elevate this molecule of pleasure. It's the day we
relish our love relationships, eat chocolate, and splurge on gifts and
flowers. Yayy for Dopamine! Without it, we wouldn't be alive. We'd
have no drive to eat, to have sex, to do anything.
To celebrate Dopamine day, I've created two limited-edition
dopamine-and-heart necklaces. You can see them here:

Other Valentine's gifts
May I recommend another molecule that is especially popular this time
of year? Theobromine, the one that makes us love chocolate so dang
much. A pair of theobromine earrings with a box of dark chocolate
truffles makes an ideal gift for some - you know who they are!

If your chocoholic sweetie isn't into earrings, theobromine keychains
exist... but not on my website, yet. Please email me if you are
interested.
And, of course, there's the crown jewel of the collection, the
endorphin choker:

Ethanol Glasses
They are back! You can order either champagne style or highball style
through the website. Other types, including those without the word
"ethanol," are available as special orders.

MWM in the news
The new issue of Craft Magazine (available on Feb 5) has an article
about me and my molecule jewelry. Also, I hear the March issue of
Gourmet magazine will feature some MWM items... I'm working on a new
molecule necklace to celebrate - something spicy - stay tuned!
Come see me!
If you are in the Bay Area, consider attending the annual Sunbrothers'
Valentine's Day Show on Saturday February 9th in Richmond. I'll be
showing my amino acid jewelry and endorphin necklace. Other artists
will bring glowing glass-and-metal flowers powered by solar panel
leaves, shimmery illuminated dragonflies, handmade chocolates, and
other delights. You can find more information here:
I wish you
all the best in the new year. And, this February, enjoy your
favorite dopamine-elevating activities,
