Anusha,
Pass this on to your friends.
======================
Suresh an F1 Student at Eastern Illinois University is in Masters Program for Computer Science. He was supposed to graduate in December, 2007. On August 14th, Suresh was driving to his school after coming from India the previous day. He was supposed to stop in Nashville for the night and again drive to Illinois the next day. But before reaching Nashville fate played with his future. He met with a serious accident and is currently in ERLANGER HOSPITAL, Chattanooga TN, fighting for his life. Also read the news published at
Journal Gazette and the Times-Courier
site about this incident.
Some of the injuries from the accident include: Both Lungs Collapsed/ Punctured, Lacerations on his head, Broken right collar bone, Broken right shoulder, Fractured C4 spine,Completely broken rib-cage ( fractured to an inch) , Laceration to his spleen, Liver damaged, Broken hip, broken left arm, broken right ankle, Anoxic/Hypoxic injuries to his Brain. -- Major ( Lack of oxygen to brain due to initial blood loss and lack of breathing ability).
ERLANGER HOSPITAL is forced to discharge Suresh as he doesn't have insurance. No nursing facility is willing to take him for the same reason -"no medical insurance". While other options are being explored, we do not want to lose valuable time and risk not having alternative options to save our friend Suresh in case they do not pan out, causing disruption to his case. In order to provide him continuous care, we need to have the ability to sustain his care through financial means. We urge you to come forward and help Suresh with your generous contributions to give him an opportunity for survival and recovery during these difficult times. All these funds will go towards long term nursing care and any medical necessities to save Suresh's life. We have setup this website
http://www.help-Suresh.org/ to help mobilize funds towards saving his life. The pain and trauma that his parents and family are undergoing is unexplainable. We are requesting each and every one to come forward and donate towards this worthy cause, keeping in mind that your contribution (however small it might be) will go a long way in his treatment and saving his life. Please pay your contributions through the non profit organization TAMA. TAMA is the association based in Atlanta - Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta. For more information on TAMA, please visit (
