Wednesday Heaton Dance TODAY AND SUMMER UPDATE

Hey hey,

I hope everyone is having lovely week,

TODAY!

Just a quick update about tonight's Wednesday Dance at Heaton Community Centre.

Due to the football match, the front entrance will be closed. Please use the back entrance to access the centre. I'll also put a notice on the front door to help direct everyone.

SUMMER UPDATE!

We are dancing on Wednesdays at Heaton Community Centre throughout the summer holidays, except for the last week of August, when the centre is closed.

Arrive from 7:20

Wave starts 7:30-40ish

Finished at 9

Pay what you can by donation; the suggested contribution is £5. Any money remaining after covering the venue hire will go towards supporting other dancers in the region through bursaries offered by the Newcastle Dance Collective.

No one is turned away from the Wednesday dance if they are unable to pay.

This group is unincorporated and run cooperatively by a loose collective of volunteers. We aim to cultivate a respectful, supportive space for community gathering and shared practice. To help hold this space, we ask that you switch off or silence your phone, refrain from taking photos or videos, and avoid talking once the dance wave has begun.

We need dj to share their dancing music for the summer and onwards.
