Tickets for Summerhill and next year's Closed group dates

Dear Dancer,

Following on from Lynn's email earlier today about tonight's session being fully booked, I want to share that you can transfer unwanted tickets for tonight to another session or person on Eventbrite. I have never done this but am pasting AI instructions below that I hope will help.

CLOSED GROUP FOR 2026

Also, as you may already know, I am planning a closed group themed around creativity next year. It is called 'Echoes and Visions' and will explore creativity in a variety of media with an emphasis on process rather than product. It will run over 5 weekends between January and June, each including a Sunday morning session working in nature. More information will follow soon. For now, the dates are: 

31 Jan - 1 Feb

28 Feb - 1 Mar

29 - 29 Mar

(no dates in April)

2-3 May

6 - 7 June

Saturdays 10:00 - 18:30

Sundays 10:00 - 16:00

The venue will be Brancepeth village hall - 20 minutes from Durham train station. Lifts may be available from the station.

In the meantime, the Sunday sessions will continue as usual up until 21 December, when we will be holding our bi-annual Solstice celebration, which will begin at a slightly earlier time (usually around 4pm, but this will be confirmed). 

Please note, as a change from the advertised schedule, I will be covering for Helen next week.

How to transfer your ticket to another person 

1. Log in to your Eventbrite account: and go to "Tickets" or "Events". 
2. Select the ticket: you want to transfer. 
Find the "Transfer" or "Change Ticket" option. If this is not visible, the ticket may not be transferable. Check with the organizer. 
Enter the new attendee's information, including their full name and email address. 
Save the changes. The new attendee will receive an email to claim the ticket. Step-by-step guide for attendees
1. How to transfer your ticket to another event from the same organiser 
2. Go to "Tickets": Log in to your Eventbrite account and navigate to the "Tickets" section.
3. Select your order: Find the order for the event you want to change.
4. Click "Change ticket": Look for and select the "Change ticket" option. If this isn't visible, the organizer may not have enabled ticket transfers, so you will need to contact them.
5. Choose the new event: Select "Change event or date" and then choose the new event from the list.
6. Review and confirm: Select the new ticket type and click "Continue".
7. Place the new order: Review any potential price differences or fees, and then select "Place Order" to finalize the transfer. Your previous ticket will become invalid, and you will receive a new confirmation email with the new ticket.
