Dear Dancer,
Just a quick heads up about dance opportunities on the horizon.
Sunday at Summerhill
It's cold and 'dreich' outside - as my grandma used to say - but we're past Imbolc and by the equinox on 21 March we will be getting almost four and a half minutes more daylight every day! As we wait for the sun's heat to return, we can attend to our own inner fire, and this is the intention for Sunday's 5Rhythms dancing.
We will be dancing to gently rekindle the rising fire of spring in our bellies, ready to burn away the old, dead wood of the past and energise new growth. I hope you can join me!
Details as usual:
Dancing in Cumbria
20 & 21 February I am teaching a Friday evening followed by a Saturday whole day with live music in Threlkeld. The Cumbria live band is evolving and increasingly includes musicians local to the area who are also regular dancers, many of them multi-instrumentalists and all highly accomplished. Bookings are taken separately for the Friday and Saturday and currently you can either book for both or just the Saturday. There may also be a possibility of sleeping in the hall overnight (usually about £10), making this an economical option for spending a weekend in the Lakes.
You can find more details about these and other Cumbria classes via the

Echoes and Visions
We had the first module of my course on creativity last weekend and how lucky were we with the weather?! The only day with blue skies and sunshine for more than a month, and we were outside at Abundant Earth getting thoroughly recharged and inspired by nature! You can no longer book for this year, but the course got off to an amazing start and I am so excited about it that I'm already thinking of running it again next year. I will try to release dates earlier this time.
Facebook Q & A
You may have noticed I ran a Q & A session online recently. It was a bit of an experiment so I wasn't surprised when only one person showed up but we had a good chat. If you're interested, you can find the recording here:
Happy to hear any feedback or answer any questions arising from it.
I hope to dance with you somewhere soon.
Much love,
Rachel
