I put varrox-san strips as instructed in some Nucs and the next day one strip had dumped a small pool of oxalic (I tasted it because I thought it was new honey) onto the bottom of the Nuc box and was running out of the entrance. Probably not a problem though Eh ?

Subject: queen vaccine

Does it come in doses smaller than 100 and what is the cost. I can't find the pricing anywhere without registering (which I don't like to do on the internet)

Below is an excerpt from a letter my club received from the Pollinator Stewardship Council and the board is asking about sending it to members.

They are stating that "Preliminary tests show alarming levels of neonicotinoids" to explain the "catastrophic honey bee losses" this winter.

Have we had any test results yet to reach any conclusions?

A Wake-Up Call for Pollinators, People, and Policy
Protect Our Pollinators—and Our Children—from Toxic Pesticides

As we shared last month, beekeepers across the U.S. are reporting catastrophic honey bee losses—many losing up to 90% of their colonies. Preliminary tests show alarming levels of neonicotinoids, a class of pesticides now linked to widespread pollinator die-offs, environmental contamination, and serious neurodevelopmental harms in children, including brain thinning, motor dysfunction, autism, and birth defects.

Despite these mounting risks—and even internal warnings from EPA scientists—neonicotinoids remain widely approved for use, including through unregulated treated seeds that now account for the majority of pesticide exposure in U.S. agriculture.

Enough is enough. The Pollinator Stewardship Council’s legal team has drafted a comprehensive petition to the Make America Healthy Again Commission, calling for immediate federal action to protect public health, pollinator ecosystems, and the nation’s food supply.

We’re urging the Commission to:

Investigate the role of neonicotinoids in childhood chronic disease
Assess the risks that pollinator loss poses to the American diet and food security
Suspend EPA approvals until complete safety testing is conducted
Restrict outdoor use to prevent further pollinator harm
Reject industry immunity from legal accountability for pesticide-related harm

A press release from Cornell University posted here about a month ago indicated that the university facility running the 500 samples through mass spec analyses for pesticides hoped to have results in a month. So it could be that some information is already available to some.

Thanks for explaining that it is just maintaining bee space. I haven't used hanging strips and don't recall hearing complaints about the combs being modified.
