I think most people know these days not to take unsolicited offers that show up online. I do my part to keep malicious activity out of the Madbees online forum by approving each Join Request before someone is allowed to post any messages.
I get upset and worry for others when despite my efforts, a fraudster slips in. This guy‘s email address looked reasonably authentic on first glance, and he provided a Join Request Reason of “Madbees discussions“ (I didn’t notice the 3 n’s in his last name, and his join reason was lame, but at least one was provided.)
I approved his Join Request. Just 12 hours later, the below message was his first (and last). As soon as I saw it this morning, I deleted it, and deleted his membership.
I write this morning just to give context and warning to anyone who had seen his message and was considering his offer.
