Tim, do you own one of these or are you just thinking about it?

I came upon it from a bee site that someone posted on it. I have the battery one but I’m interested. The pro cap is $500 +
I’ve heard of cheaper knockoffs
But this one seems like a good alternative
I haven’t come up with a place to order it from yet

I dont own one of these devices but they look very practical in many ways - no big battery to carry etc.

I saw this website, where it is apparently  sells for $33+SH

However, I also saw discussions that raised concerns about the high temperatures of such blow torches for oxalic acod applications as it may change the vapor composition significantly:

I'll preface this by pointing out that I've used OA very infrequently, and only by the dribble method.  But what I've always wondered about the sublimizers, and especially the torch models and homemade electrical models, is temperature control.  Heating OA leads to basically two outcomes:  the wanted outcome sublimation (and re-crystallization), and decomposition.  So if you're not controlling the heating temperature, how can you be confident of the dose?
