Dear Jeanne,

I am interested in buying a nucleus of bees, if you have contacts to whom you could refer me.

Thank you,

I think it won't be too much longer before some club members have some local nucs for sale.

Yes, I will. My concern is that I don't want to over commit. I will have nucs soon, but each one will have two frames of brood and I don't want to totally exhaust my apiary.

I am similar to Betsy. I was talking with Paul O. and will be working out getting queens from him, which will be quicker than waiting for nucs to make their own queens. So, it will be a few weeks, but I'll have nucs as well. Since this is my first time, I don't want to make promises or take orders or anything until I am confident I can deliver.

But, I would encourage folks who are looking for bees to be patient and watch the listserv. I think there will be quite a few (dozens) of nucs available in the coming weeks. Betsy will be ready before me and I'm not sure if there are others planning to supply nucs, but they're on the way. I'll probably have mediums and deeps available. I'll be talking with Betsy to have a similar and fair price.

Paul and Betsy,

Please keep the contact information of this woman (she's not on Madbees) and let her know when your nucs are available.  Thanks!
