Honey Beekeeping Equip & Supplies - going out of business!!!

Hey All-

Those of you who were at the meeting yesterday may remember me mentioning a beekeeper in Milton who is going out of business and selling their equipment. I mentioned that I would post the information to this group today. This is that post.

The beekeepers are Gary & Grace Stockman of Milton, WI and their business is called Rustic Road Pure Honey. At their peak they had 36 hives, with 22 hives going into this winter. They decided before winter that they were going to retire from beekeeping after 12 years. Then, they had 100% losses over winter. So they don't have any bees, but do have a whole lot of equipment that they are looking to sell.

Below, you'll find the link to the Craigslist post that I found them through, and attached you'll find some higher quality versions of the pictures on that craigslist post and a scan of their business card. All of which they gave me permission to share with this group.

It is appointment only so please use the contact info in the Craigslist post or on their business card to get in contact with them before heading over. Texting Grace's cell (that's the number on the business card) worked the best for me.

I was there this morning to check it out and picked up a number of deep and medium boxes as well as bottom boards and inner and outer covers. All of the equipment that I saw is in used, but good, condition. So if you're looking to stock up with used equipment at a bit of a discount --and don't mind the drive to Milton-- this is a pretty good opportunity to do so.

It would be helpful if they gave some indication of prices. Depending on price, I might be interested in a lot of it, but seems tedious to try to send offers on it all not even knowing the ballpark.
