DCBA August Meeting, 6PM August 4, Club Apiary, Weather Permitting

Hi All,

Yes, our next meeting is already upon us!  Weather Permitting, it will be held at the club apiary tomorrow, August 4, starting at 6:00 pm.  

I'm currently seeing a chance of rain starting late tomorrow afternoon, so please stay tuned for updates!  

We'll discuss assessment of colony health and strength and why it's important as we head into these last 3 months of brood-reading before winter.  We'll discuss combining of colonies and demonstrate a newspaper combine.  

Bee suits will be required.

There should be time for Q&A.  If anyone has business items to discuss, please let me know.

MEETING POSTPONED.  Hi Everyone, with the chance of thunderstorms this evening and both risk of rain and grumpy bees, we're postponing the meeting unti next week (August 11, 6PM).  

I will cross-post on Facebook and to mem...@danecountybeekeepers.org.  If you know of anyone who might not be on any of these lists send them a note!
